FO Hainan Arabi, the fleeting pleasure.

Followed up with a touch of sandal just an hour later seemed to prolong the longevity somewhat, will have to try it again.

Despite being heavily anointed with both my thoughts turn to anticipation of something born from rouge. I feel blessed that I discovered wild Oud before it's a distant memory

I am sorry I haven't been a active participant for a while now, this was due to some family problems we were facing. More particularity a tragedy. Please forgive me for not being active. Everyone is slowly recovering from this trial and although a long journey ahead, things are getting back to normal again.
However, one thing I did not leave during this whole ordeal was my precious Oudh. They were the highlight of a tough and hard time. To hear and listen to all the different and beautiful notes takes your mind off of grieving for a extended period of time.
I used many Oudh's on all these days namely: Borneo 2000, TW Royale, TW95, Jing Shen Lu, and Satori Kensho.
Today I dabbed the holy OM5. This is probably one of the Oudh's I will be most stingy with. The depth of this Oudh is on a different level. A Oudh that brings satisfaction and happiness each time I put it on. I started worrying when I started to see the dip stick so I ordered another bottle. I will be at peace for a while knowing one is aging even more. Thank you Ensar!

May Allah inspire you with patience, and may the tools you need to help get you through this rough time become abundant.

A nice blend I've made with chinese Oud, Sri Lankan lemon grass, and White Ambergris macerated in a blend of Indian/Australian Sandalwood.

@kooolaid79 Inna liLlahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un my brother, so sorry for your loss.

Oud was accompaniment to a loss in our family earlier this year, and it became even more precious to me after that - I'll never forget how it helped me and what it signified. May Allah bless you and your family.
Jazakallahu khairan Akhi. Ameen to your duas!

Hi guys. I know this thread is a bit old but Lushai Hills is mentioned several times here and I'd like to ask something about it. I just received my bottle from Zak this morning. The oil smells very nice, very unique with delicate distant florals, a rosy character, powdery-kind of like immortelle, fresh, sweet pastille candy, tea with milk, and traces of deer musk and sandalwood soap.

My question concerns its strength. Do you guys find it very faint? When my nose is six inches or so away from the swipe patch on my arm, I start to lose the scent. I could barely smell it at all at first. Is this due to my aging olfactory bulb, or did you have the same experience?

I am sorry for your loss. Prayers to you and your family.

After a few weeks, I'm still not smelling clearly due to the epic virus that is plaguing town, but I really can't handle anymore khus....
Such an absence from agarwood left everything as grey as today's skies, so I'm opening the vault tonight to seek inspiration from EO: Oud Zacharriya, and to lay the foundation for delving back into the gift of oud, Al hamduli Lah.

@kooolaid79 to Allah subhana wa ta’ala we belong and to Allah is our return, I pray Allah gives you and yours strength in your time of need, Ameen.

Ensar Oud~ Sultan Sufyan from my sample vial, such an antiseptically clean, medicinal and completely satisfying oil, a small swipe goes a long way.

SOTD: a long night of burning Oud  As much as I love all Ouds, Vietnam always holds a special place in my heart, it's like love at first sight everytime... or rather at first sniff. :D

Feeling the Sir Lankan vibe today. First burned some Sri Lankan agarwood chips and then dawned the beautiful Sinharaja X. When the smoke settled, the oil took over. Simply sublime and beautiful.
