Now will that be Kyara LTD v1 or v2? [emoji848]

I don't think I have tried OR 2016 the last time we met right?
The Kyara LTD & Royal Kinam v2's were both distilled from proper kyara containing trees & cleaning dust. So that would be the v2's, taukee!

Hmm... now what might you be hinting at, I wonder... ;)

If anyone tells you they have a better smelling oil than Kyara LTD or Royal Kinam, they must've died and gone to Heaven..... Earthlings cannot smell anything better. Different, maybe. But never 'better'. Maybe I will share a story a bit later about how we tried to do something better, and how that turned out... Please remind me if I forget.

Here are my best oils, by category....

Therapeutic/medicinal/spiritual:

Kyara LTD
Royal Kinam
Kynam No 1

Beautiful/unearthly:

Nha Trang LTD
Brunei Kinam
Oud Royale 2016 (Maluku)

Anyone can order / pre-order any of these oils by emailing Mr Coburn or Mr @Kruger. Please don't wait for them to be released, as they won't be....

This is something I had been wondering about recently, has is ever gone horribly wrong? My assumption is that with the higher quality wood, distillation disasters would still yield a 'good/nice' smelling oil?

I can certainly vouch for all of those personally, and how I personally view and experience them, except I have a slightly older version of the Royal Kinam (sort of a prototype I believe, correct me if I'm wrong Ensar), and I have never sampled the new OR (though have enquirered already). :p

And I would agree. There is nothing I would call "better". Equal maybe. Though I am convinced, and you will have to prove me wrong, you stumbled upon and oil so beautiful and medicinal that it is truly an elixir of youth. And it is indeed guarded by mystical dragons and equally fierce beasts that let only the chosen ones into that vault.

At least that's what I think.

And yes, please tell us of this attempt at "better" Ensar!

Truer words hath not been spake. Precisely these therapeutic oils were the three I found to stand head and shoulders above the rest. A few other oils can induce a similar effect, but an 'effect' is not quite the real thing for the discerning mind (not nose).

MAKE OUD CHEAP AGAIN
well getting there....................
somebody recently just got lucky:
"10,000$" oil getting full original new bottle for just a bit over 1000

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Oriscent-OUD-ROYALE-NO-1-AGED-35-YEARS-3-grams-100-Pure-Wild-Agarwood-Oudh-/172553019355?nma=true&si=3BvPDt0r4Eaoe91Ijsv7q8u%2B8fE%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

They sure did get lucky... that's one stunning Oud. I can't believe that no one knew about this auction.

Actually, the person got a bit unlucky... The oil advertised as bought from us in 2011 can be none other than Oud Royale No 2 (still a bargain, for what he paid). We sold oud of Oud Royale No 1 weeeell before 2011. @Ouddict can tell you.... He wiped out the last of my supply back in 2007.

I did, but then I gave you back four bottles as I felt bad for you... :D

It does look like an Oud Royale No. 2 bottle... I can tell from the sticker at the bottom of bottle as those stickers were not around when the OR1 was being sold.

Ensar, isn't Oud Royale No 2 even more rare only like 2-3 bottles?

I thought it was more like 14?...
I bought around 14 bottles, but 10 in one go in 2008.. From that 10 I returned 4 in exchange for some misbahas which I later returned to you as a gesture after the shipping debacle. Out of the 10 I have I gave away a few so have 2-3 bottles left... I now feel physically sick. Oh well.

No, my brother. Oud Royale 2 may command up to $2,500 max in the current market....

Oud Royale 1 was a sinking-grade distillation that would cost about $10K to reproduce at present - with zero guarantee of succeeding even if you tried.
