Oud Parfums (ORISCENT)

#2
Today I received Thai Tabac 1 and Borneo Zen.
They are very very BEAUTIFUL mukhallats ! I mean the quality of the Oud Oriscent is the same as Mukhallat Oriscent !

Borneo Zen is wonderful from open to dry down! I like the freshness of Thai Tabac it is a very relaxing oil! And Pink Papua has become my favorite because of the Kalbar 3000 note and the sweetness of the florals just puts it on me man!

I've just spent a bit of Zen, I could already see the quality of musk.
His sweetness and harmony with other components is correct.
I notice the smell of chewing gum as well.
Actually this is a mukhallat exotic.

Pink Papua: A beautiful blend of Borneo Oud with Pink Lotus. Very pretty and feminine, soft and delicate. The lotus is quite evident, and makes this such a pleasant parfum. The Aussie Sandalwood mixes perfectly, and the notes are so seamlessly woven together. A beautifully crafted parfum, a favorite of mine, and the perfect gift for your female lover.

Borneo Zen: The precious notes of real deer musk make this a unique parfum. The Aussie Sandalwood is definitely there, and soon the musk harmonizes with the rest of the oils. It is only after a while that I smell the clarity of the Borneo Oud singing so clearly. This oil is very quiet and relaxing, as the name would indicate. It leaves me wanting something more robust, but I also appreciate its lightness and contemplative nature.

Thai Tabac: Wow! This is my favorite parfum. Tabac opens loud and strong with a spicy note that is very musky to my nose. Sandalwood lurks behind it, and in another moment they fuse to a powderiness that is amazing. A few sniffs later there is a sweetness, perhaps a floral is in here. Tabac is French for "tobacco", and that would be the perfect summary of this parfum. A sweet and nicely aged cigar, hints of powdery vanilla. It really perfectly captures the scent of fine sweet tobacco. A perfect male perfume.

Congratulations to Ensar for crafting these very fine perfumes with such high quality ingredients.

Thank you Oudiferous, I was out of my zone with the borneo zen, I couldn't put a name on the deer musk I never had any, only tried one borneo. When my wife says she likes these as in pink papau also, that really says a lot, "very tough critic" when it comes to natural perfumes.
The pink papua blew me away, when I took the first whiff I felt like I had my nose right in the pink lotus blossom, I was amazed at "how seamlessly woven" (like your phrase better), I wrote in my notes something about how smooth each note synergizes with the next, I liked the pink papau the best for that reason. I have yet to try any of his older or more $$ oud's, I can't compare those notes. I wrote to Ensar right after smelling the pink papua & told him he should insure his nose, he has talent.

Oudiferous you make a good critic, Thanks!
Abdullah, I agree with you about Ensar & his oud parfum, line?
I have to get back to my perfumery, it's been a while.

Thanks to all you regulars, you make this the best oud forum!
Enjoy today, you never know what tomorrow brings!

Was very excited for being Ensar's host with his entourage (Thomas & Abdul Hadi) couple of days. Learnt a lot from him. We also visited some oud shops. Tasted Abdul Samad's THAQEEL & KALAKAS, Ajmal's QADEEM. Believe me, no COMPARISON. SOON WE MIGHT HAVE AN "ENSAR OUD" IN ABU DHABI.

Not for some time, I'm afraid. I'm busy collecting the finest quality aromatics from around the world. Once I'm happy with the variety and quality of raw materials I have available, I will take up my mukhallat hobby once again.

But Oud Sultani should provide sufficient reason for any lover of oud to go on a mukhallat fast for at least a decade. ;)
