Qi Nam Thai.

Wow. Just an unreal Thai oil. Not the luscious nectary peach fruity profile of Oud Yusuf. Not the lemongrass citrus fruits of Jing Shen Lu.

No, this one goes all beautifully sour with a medley of red, green and yellow fruits. Drop dead gorgeous and one of my favorite oils.
Loved the description Bhanny sir :) Thumbs up. Must be a magnificent oil !

Wow sounds mouth watering and something as a must have! Kind of reminds me of Tokasan Thai which I smelled at Dr @kesiro place. It truly was a drop dead gorgeous Oudh, the likes of something which I had never smelled before. The Qi Nam Thai sounds so amazing! Thank you for bringing back that memory with your description!

Another show stoping Hindi, this time from Nagaland.
Absolutely gorgeous.
With Zachariyya and Musa as pillars of my Hindi collection, I'm not sure where else I can go.
The two of these destroy any Hindi I've purchased in India over the past 20 years.
More later; off to add the sea breeze to the vapours soaring angelic from my wrists.

Ensar Oud Suriranka Senkoh,

A super refined version of the original Sinharaja and its successor X with similar overall scent profile, smoother and more complex and it has this oudiness oomph of Kinam Rouge when you immediately apply or sniff the wand; a signature of EnsarOud. Less honeyed with more gourmand vanilla creaminess that envelops the Gyrinpos wood preventing it from turning musty pungent and bitterly wet transforming it to more glassy oudy and delicate incensy green aroma that persists without much development but with dynamism holding through the heart- and basenote (i.e., simple in a complex way of breaded notes arrangement that act altogether as a single engineered olfactory structure giving an illusion of simplicity and delusion of complexity if that make sense)…similar type of performance as Chugoku Senkoh.

I don’t detect the oceanic blue green hue which was striking in Sultan Salman…

@Ammar I didn't see your review but just posted my own of Suriranka Senkoh.

I noticed a big difference in my appreciation based on the size of my swipe - a small swipe gave me more of the 'glassy oudy and delicate incensy green aroma' as you say whereas a larger swipe gave me definite blue-green notes. Having said that I've never tried Sultan Salman.

Thank you @Shabby for the advice I will consider it next time although I don’t have the gut to apply big swipe!

Sultan Salman is hardcore oil turning into beauty in a beast mode each time I sniff it, Ambergrisfied Walla Patta resin on pitch dark fermented New Guinea Gyrinpos incense. Glitch in the Oud Matrix creating a breath-taking beautiful Frankenstein’s monster LOL! Epic…

I fully agree with you Ammar. The Salman is powerhouse and a fave of mine. The Suriranka is a more delicate presentation. I am getting the blue green notes but they are more laid back with the cucumber walla patta scent.

Today was the Khmer Special K. This thing is a tenacity monster. Can still faintly detect it on my wrist after 12 hours which included three full surgical scrubs! Beast mode!!
This oil is the Cambodi version of a kinam oil, but with a dark side. Dark but delicate burning incense, bitter, medicinal, with the green kinam notes building and building during the drydown. No tutti frutti, no fermented notes, no red cambodi profile. Yet, like Chiem Po Chai, you can tell it's cambodi DNA. This is one of Taha's finest creations in my opinion. Both he and Ensar have a unique gift of 'sculpting' something never smelled before. As an admitted Vietnam oud addict, this one satisfies just as much in every way. An epic oil.

Wow oh Wow! Another beautiful Hindi! How can anyone call themselves oudh lovers if they don't have a very special place in their hearts for Hindi Oudhs. Anyone can spend a lifetime discovering Hindi Oudhs, thats how complex and deep they are IMO. Just ask @PEARL

EO's Oud Yoshi this evening! Got to keep the talk of Hindi Ouds going on. This Oil is a non barnyard with some type of dried honey and apricot notes. Simply a stunning oil which IMO can be worn for any occasion preferably something of meditation related!! The silage on this oil is stunning and lasts a very long time!!

I've had it in my possession for about a month, and have had just brief encounters with it. I've been mostly focusing on Shuayb (which I failed to mention earlier as another pillar of my Hindis; just beautiful. Apologies to dear Shuayb, by no means have I forgotten about you; you are amazing!) & OZ, when it comes to Hindis.
I sensed that Musa had finally settled-in from it's climate change and travel; acclimatized, and was ready for a bigger swipe today.
That swipe was many hours ago, but in my novice opinion and sea-breezed recollection, it's opening arc was longer and more traditional than OZ; a late bloomer if you will.
I'll get some proper notes to to you ASAP, Doc. I don't want to misspeak without a focused nose :). These Hindis are a deep study.

So it is Jing Shen Lu today. This stuff is crazy. I can finally say I understand this oil after almost a year of acquiring it. 5th or 6th application today. I am totally zoned in. Its like a wallapatta was punched over a Hainan Oil. Wooh. I get 4 different aromas from it the sweet Yousuf honey + Wallapatta patchouli menthol + Burmi leathery Incense + Hainan bittersweet drydown. Its not as simple/linear as described by Ensar bhai. I remember quite distinctly, a year back, it only smelled like sweet fruity custardy run of the mill plantation oud - one which is like a mass pleasing perfume you wear to justify to your wife not ALL Oud is BAD ! One thing that keeps me want to revisit this oil is mention of Kyen/Cultivated resinous heartwood (quite rare) and the other that Ensar Bhai feels its better than both Satoris he s done. From my experience I have realised he leaves very subtly, subliminal messages in his long descriptions. And with so many vendors we are ready to jump onto oils and then we forget about the older ones without spending time with each but that's completely unavoidable given the limited batches of precious oils. Anyway, this stuff is one in line with all the zingy Ouds that put me a spiritual journey. There are so many layers to this. Every whiff brings something from the 4 profiles I have mentioned. I do half sniffs and full sniffs alternatively and some randomly to catch those finer nuances. And this oil has matured to such a high level of complexity it leaves me perplexed emotionally and rationally both. I get a very special note here which has been described by the master himself in many of his favorite oils. I will leave it to the seniors here to mention :) I ll start saving for this one now. What a superb value for money. If this is what bittersweet Kyen can do it can definitely excite the Monkoh thrillseekers.Try putting some on moustache or beard without smudging for best effect. It doesnt cause fatigue at all.

Prerequisites to enjoy this oil: Dry/Airy/Cold to pleasant weather (10to20 c), Solitude with Highly focussed mind, Multiple separated applications.
