Sufi Oud(Strictly For Royals)

#1
So I have been trying to broaden my oud horizons when I stumbled across Sufi Oud. They have very interesting ads, and the marketing scheme is, im assuming, reverse psychology. Basically they have a slogan that says "strictly for royals" and they claim to make only 30 bottles a year. It is a hindi oud in a silver bottle. Just curious to know if anyone has heard or even acquired this oil.

Not being a royal myself, I have not been privy to that rare fortune....
I second that! :D
Seems like a rather odd marketing technique. Also, at $1500 for a 10ml bottle, the bottle sure doesn't look like something that actual royalty would buy.

Not genuine oud... the website title says " Sufi Oudh, strictly for Royals, world´s expensive attar.
I guess that means it is some mixture of oils.

Seufi is basically a sweet oil that comes out from India. They basically put a sweet aromatic compound which can be found in most Seufis and Cambodi Kadims lol. That sort of oud has been going around since ages. Seufi is a market term to lure Arab customers. Even in Assam is doesnt hold any meaning in trade. So we stay away from all Seufis. Its a very pleasing sort of generic Oud sold as Cambodi. The sweetness will put off Oudheads. Its like that one synthetic strand your nose can pick up. Something odd in the overall aroma which kills the fun.
