Driving home tonight from my job at the Space Center really enjoying the ride. Breathing in relaxing and expansive thoughts from a little mustache dusting of EO People's Pursat. Amazingly rich and interesting for an artisanal oil on the lower end of the cost spectrum. Tonight I witnessed, from 3 miles away. the launching of the world's current most powerful rocket, SpaceX's Falcon Heavy, thundering skyward with a raucous caucaphony. About 10 minutes later little fireflies (actually twin large boosters) fell from the clear blue sky and landed on concrete at Cape Canaveral while the 3rd one landed safely 535 miles out in the ocean on a barge. Twin double sonic booms rattled everything about 20 seconds after they touched down. Successfully lofted into geo-synchronous orbit a 6.5 ton satellite, ArabSat-6A which will serve data and video services in the Mid East. (Replays abound on YouTube) Today I was working in the Launch Control Center room that launched Apollo 13 49 years ago today (April 11,1970). I was 16 then. I feel so fortunate to work where I do and so blessed to have found and be able to appreciate and contemplate the wondrous depth of Oud. Amazing stuff! I enjoy the conversations and descriptions from those who can so richly describe oud and related fragrances or those that simply say what they like each day. Inspiring words to me.
