I smell more like BBQ charcoal after having grilled some burgers. Can't led Oud mix with that kind of smell so just wanted to lay off of them today.
Burgers?

And.... did you bring enough McKoolaids for everyone?

My SOTD's were TWIS Stratix on my left wrist and Mediterra on my right.

Both EDT's and both surprisingly very nice for that genre.

Stratix being a very good example of a 'blue' light scent that delivers plenty of depth without the jarring artificial notes and Mediterra being a fresh pot-pourri affair that's heavy on the orange but very moreish indeed.

I can't say that in my very few forays into mainstream perfumeland I have smelled better. No headache inducing hazchems.

Edit at 1am.

After emergency nappy change I was hit by a rather intense craving for a meaty snack and Oud.

Just applied a tiny swipe of FO OST to my philtrum and it's absolutely heavenly right now.

I resent in a way applying it shortly before I fall asleep as I will miss the hours of pleasure it gives me but falling asleep with the intense aroma of it will be wonderful.

Does anyone else here except Ensar apply Oud for a bedtime treat?

Kyara LTD. Medicinal Kinam, A scent you really cannot describe well, it is really an amazing experience. Truly for meditative moments.
Wow a Medicinal Kinam? Holy Moly! It must be heavenly!! The medicinal Ouds for me are the beautiful tigerwood95 and the tigerwood royale! Kinam is in its league of its own saying saying from the top "to whom shall I bless today" :)

Today was the beautiful Archipelago. The beginning aroma is like wow, the second aroma is jaw dropping good, and the 3rd final dry down, is where a person can really appreciate what a artist Ensar is to create such a beauty!

I certainly do.
If I try to do the same with mukhallats or other oudh attars, it's much too stimulating.
Oudh is very grounding for me, and resets my mind.
When I first got into Kyara incense, I would burn that at night before bed, but after time began to be weary of sleeping in a smoke cloud.

Hey Koool my brother! The medicinal of the T95 and T. Royale is totally different then the K LTD. It is something you have to experience yourself. Night and day difference. BTW, the T95 and T. Royale I love dearly!!

Nice RobertOne.

Yesterday I went with Sultan Thai (unnamed). I really love this high-grade Thai done Sultan style. Characteristic Sultan top notes are there, but these are bursting full of Thai flavor. A beautiful, deep woody base lasts and lasts. Bravo Ensar.

Last night went Ceylon No1. The most delicious honey, tea, tart green apple, bravo Taha.

Ah, the before-bed oud - my favorite swipe! That's the one where I really get to meditate on the scent - applying a little bit before doing some stretching and meditating is awesome..

SOTD - Royal Guallam - a shape-shifter for sure - wonderful earthy bittersweet oud - all sorts of magical notes emerge - def in my favorites category...

Very nice Josh! RG is amazing! Today was Mostafa No. 5. Something about this oil on surgery days. It is just oud to the core. No frills, unashamed oud richness.

Tonight is Mai bo rai from Adam. This stuff just keeps getting better and better! Great job Adam!
Adam does distill some very nice drops to be sure.

EO Royal Kinam 2010.

It's going to be a good day today.

I don't think, I will ever get tired talking about Oud Mustafa 5. A masterpiece crafted just perfect. I think I am going to put it on this morning.

Hoping to meet RG someday! RV is indeed lovely, with the interplay as you mention, I put it in the Guallam Solide type of Vietnamese oud. It's really nice.

Today for me? Two very different Chinese. One of the all time greats and frequent player in my recent rotation, the impeccable China Sayang. Which actually has its own, but clearly different, sweet/sour interplay. The other is Sinensis by IO. A thicker oil. A bit sweet, spicy in a cinnamon way, nice oil.

I think one of the things I like so much about these Chinese, Vietnamese and Kinamese oils, in addition to the clear psychoactive/therapeutic properties for me, are those various sweet/sour/bitter interplays. Just mouthwatering and aesthetically superior to me.
