Strong opening of Crassna Tutti Frutti. Not too far from the likes of L Essentiel Cambodgien or Saumanasa.

There so much aroma exploding:confused:, that the Crassna can’t hold back it’s fruitiness, forcing it to smell like other bubblegum ouds. But!!!.....upon closer listening, it is evident that the richness of scent is superior to it’s clones, with more depth and zero barn.

Moving on.....the opening slides a long slope downward to the heart, where the top fades to reveal a different profile. The ensuing aroma is pure cambodi fruit nestled in oleroresinousnessity:D

Now.....all one has to do is kick-back and enjoy:)
Love the depth and details you share with every experience Curt! Very much appreciated!! Many congrats on acquiring all those new oils!!

I need calm and focus this morning and I can think of no better oil then Chugoku Senkoh. It has been a while since I last wore it and for some reason, it smells a little different then I remember. A bit more zest and spice, the nose tingling kind I associate with sinensis oud. Such a masterful creation. Its just perfect.

Today I revisited Sultan Afnan.
Very sweet, but still, a very beautiful and elegant oud.
As it dried down, I was ready for another swipe.
I went for Aroha Kyaku 2011-12 and a micro amount of Civeto_O

The combination of the three aromas, all side by side, is just...........just.............,,,,,,,
I think I shattered the Time Continuum:eek:

Forget about King and Sultan oils,
this is Pharaoh stuff:p:p:D

EnsarOud People's Sultan, first impression,

There is absolutely no reason I think of to make Ensar put this oil at this price as he can easily sell it at double or triple of the price and still be a low-price-for-quality oil IMO.

I can't add more to oudamberlove impression and performance analysis, but in short the opening is expolsive oud syrup in the same vein of IO Sinharaja and EO SX mixed with IO Thai Toffee without the terpene, like honeyed guave nectar and sultana juice-soaked precious wood and resin with traces of blue cyprus/camomile on background of delicate muted incensy oceanic vapours of Sultan Abus Selam NG wood acting as a fixator that gives depth and refinement to the Thai juice without domination like what ambergris maceration would do to sandalwood. Only if the initial explosion stay longer I would be super happy man.

Robin hood oil that stole Sultanese Mojo and gave it to the populace.

I wish this is episode one of long oud soap opera...

Interested in hearing your take on the Naya baby Mr. Mopar!
Ohayo gozaimasu P-san! Well, first impressions of the CN are in. You would never mistake this for not being a "Chugoku", from those that tried or have CS. It is however far from identical. As Grandmaster Oud told me, it is Chugoku distilled "barnyard style". So I get the unmistakably haunting singular note of CS, along with more horizontal and vertical complexity including some distinct Assamese notes. I think you, double VANOS M-sport PEARL, would really dig this, knowing your penchant for Assam oud.
This oil is definitely more animalic, but the "barn" notes are not fecal and strong in any way. This is truly wonderful stuff but I will definitely need some more time to study it.
I continue to be blown away by the quality of the stuff being produced now. My hat's off with a deep bow to all of you who labored to bring us such amazing treasures.

Sultan Mustafa. Damn. Just wow. The notes come at you faster then a Paganini piece. Red, green, blue, blue green, orange. A kaleidoscope of notes spinning around until they start to settle down into a tantalizing medicinal scent rivaling the most medicinal Viet ouds. Just killer stuff.

EO’s Hainan 2005 this morning in rememberance to @Ensar’s current trip to China. The citrus peel aroma in this oil along with the purest agarwood puts this oil as one of my all time favorites for medicinal and meditation purposes.

It must be our super clean fresh air today (coming from the Pacific Ocean). Because I have a swipe of Oud Royale SL, and I’m getting a mental imagery of a kaleidoscope of Orange, Yellow, Light Green, Pink, and Lavender.

I am also picking up some refined ambergris, especially from first swipe.

ORSL smells so much like Cambodi Kinam:p:p:p:p:p:p

I also went kaleidoscopic with Sultan Mujeeb despite the cold weather. I can't believe this is single agarwood species distillation.

It seems that the long distillation process of unique high grade wood patch between copper and steel mixed with love and passion created so many scent bonds that were able to capture the essence of several oudwoods miraculously in unmatched harmony.

The playful brother of Hun Yin is absolutely brilliant museum quality oud...

I am with you Curt. ORSL is a monster oil and I feel it is just a fraction of its ultimate potential right now.

I have been periodically swiping some People's Sultan from my sample vial for the past few days and I believe this one also has a bright future. I was initially getting mostly Trat out of it but now, after some obvious time to breath in the vial, I am getting more gyrynops and it is divine. It has quite a complex profile right now but I get the feeling it will take time before showing its true colors. Amazing bargain.

I forget to mention about yesterday.
Concerning ORSL.........
One swipe is worth a thousand sniffs:D

Today....Maroke Sultan
At first I’m hit by the oudiness, resin, and dry earth
then there’s a complex blend of lime oil, black pepper, frangipani, lavender, and tobacco

The feeling I get is “Jungle meets Forest of Evergreen Trees”

Although it’s not a smokey oil, because of it’s constant vaporousness, it seems like aloes bubbling on coals:rolleyes:
