V-vial holders and guitars by Kesiro

I've been trying to figure out a storage solution for my agarwood oil bottles for quite some time. I thought about getting a box similar to the one @kooolaid79 has in his avatar, but everything I found was too big, would need to be partitioned and have a lot of unused space for my small collection. I thought about using a Tomobako paulownia wood box that I had gotten with some Japanese tea ware, but then where to put the tea ware when not in use? Then I saw the v-vial and bottle holders by our own wood surgeon @kesiro, only thing was that I typically don't display my bottles. Having no solution I left my bottles where they were; each bottle in a bag, each bagged bottle in the velvet pouch, each velvet pouch in the original box, and finally several boxes in a big plastic bag - making my bottles an absolute pain to get to.

Then I learned about one of the new designs from @kesiro. It's a storage box which doubles as two display cases. It uses an innovative and unique locking pattern which keeps the two halves together when closed and appears virtually seamless, absolutely ingenious. I chose to have my own made with straight edges, keeping a more rustic aesthetic and letting the "wood" do the talking, which in this case is Koa hardwood with a lovely figured pattern.

Simplistic, minimalistic and functional while showing beautiful craftsmanship, stunning piece!

Haha, well those are @kesiro's bottles which I believe he was using to test the various sizes. If you want to know what I keep in it now, here's a shortlist: Borneo 50K, Nha Trang LTD, Oud Ahmad, Royal Kinam, Kambodi 1976, Pattani LTD, Sultan Ahmet, White Kinam, Kyara Koutan, Oud Royale No 2, Kyara LTD – as well as a few 'homework' oils I get from my teacher to study and contrast with the batches we're currently working on.

Woah what a collection MaashaAllah!! Can you take a picture of that collection sometime? Only if you find it appropriate to share. There will always be haters and well wishers. Insha-Allah I am from the 2nd category.
What is Pattani LTD and White Kinam?

It might be nice if the holders could be made in.....(wait for it)..............agarwood or sandalwood. Not incense grade or even carving grade, just log grade. It’d still be a nice tribute to the oils it would hold.

The angels in heaven wish well for those who wish well. And the fish of the sea hate those who hate. No bird ever chirped save that it praised peace and cursed hate. The ants and bees all curse hate.

Pattani LTD is from [superlative] [superlative] Pattani wood. And that's not "high-grade" in the vein of every [superlative] [superlative] oil that's released every week. I mean big black slabs of wood that can sell for many thousands per kilogram. Hence you can rightly argue that Pattani LTD is an experiment in stupidity and hubris. It's the Nha Trang LTD of Thailand.

White Kinam is the [superlative] [superlative] [superlative] Malinau oil ever distilled by the son of Adam (not Coburn, or the one who just got married). Insert your own words ending in -est in the brackets above. Add more flowery language to taste, until you can see just how great this oil is.

I'm so sick of reading superlatives in product write-ups that I feel like calling for a bucket each time I read one. Jean Paul Sartre's masterwork aside, White Kinam is an oil I hope to grow old with. It is the same jungle as Borneo 3000, but done the Nha Trang LTD/Royal Kinam way. Everyone is invited to my house (or the next OudFest) where they can smell and swipe away to their hearts' content. Other than that, it's not going anywhere.
