WOW amazing pieces! I also saw a amazing looking necklace that's wrapped around that co distillation of Tanzanian sandal wood distilled with the Aceh sandal wood. The piece that's wrapped around that bottle looks to be made from Tanzanian sandal wood : ) is this assumption correct?
Nope, that's from the same 90's Cambodi wood as the bangle above ;)

Ensar, you know I never ask you questions directly, but it seems you are paying off something big. I remember that post way back when you were itemizing loans in the millions, but this is different. I hope this is not a precursor to retirement. What. Did. You. Buy?

Dude! Those are amazing. How is the aroma? Is it strong like an oil, or do you have to have your nose on the beads?
The Cambodi bangles are from the old stock Cambodian wood that was available in China and Taiwan pre-China Market boom. Hence they're 1.6 cm and only $3,500. That's thousands less than Papuan beads of similar size and resination go for in China – and they're from wild Cambodian wood harvested 20 years ago! After the boom, any new beads carved from new wood will go for considerably more. They are quite fragrant with that bitter old Cambodi note. Perfectly carved, and a joy to flip through as worry beads when you're not actually wearing the bangle around your wrist.

I wouldn't compare the fragrance of the beads to wearing the oils, as it's quite a different (and very unique!) experience. You get phantom whiffs of aroma at the most unexpected times; it's like a constant gentle aromatic companion with no 'top, middle, base' to the fragrance. Rather, it is one scent that surrounds you and follows you with extreme loyalty throughout your day. An experience to be had!

OH MY!!!!! I am afraid to ask what the necklace is going for but i must know : ) Also is the necklace a personal piece for your self to wear? I cant tell if it is one large necklace or two that's wrapped around the bottle? Quite amazing.
The necklace is the same price as the bangle, and it is for sale. I have some smaller ones too, but the one you see in that picture is the only one of its kind. Please direct any inquiries to Mr Adam Coburn, whoever is interested.

Oh, nothing Tuff! Just chafing away at the same old loans, my friend! Getting tired of it all, and thinking of pulling the plug on any further distillations until those have been paid off – but only thinking about it (boilers are cooking away, full steam!) :D

We should have emphasized this much more in the description, but the smokiness in Oud Dhul Q is courtesy of an exceptionally good batch of wild incense-grade Cambodian wood. (If sold to burn, you'd have been looking at $25/gr minimum.)

The sheer clarity and exuberance of the incense profile is enough to tell you how crazy the wood was, but I just wanted to point that out to show you guys just how s̶t̶u̶p̶i̶d̶ generous Ensar is being with the price.

be able to smell a smokier and incence filled oil than aroha, untill Dhul Q, at the same time its like aroha but differnt. i wont say which is better, i though DQ was until i smelled aroha agian and now i switch my love between both. :)
i havent smell anything realted to these 2 produced by EO, judging from the 20 or so products i used by EO so far. maybe he has them hidden somwhere.
and those who were able to get their hands on DQ are quiet lucky. i being one of them.

What's your secret Ensar? I know, it's proprietary:oops:
You said it! (But, basically, a TON of incense-grade wild Cambodian wood from a few years ago!)

Anyway, we can always hope that there'll be another similar oil in the works. Hint, hint:rolleyes:
Yep, you said it, too! But this time I'm doing my veeeeeery best to minimize the smoke effect and crank UP the fruits and gently heated resins, if you will! ;)

@Ensar

Dhul Q is indeed Aroha's grand daddy. It's gone whatsoever.
This time we want Dhul Q's Grand Daddy now.

Tigerwood 1995 is definitely one of the best values around. The quality is outstanding and the price, even minus the ridiculous $90 pre-order, is a steal. This is the one, or one of the few, that I imagined oud to smell like, long before I ever sniffed pure oud. For me, THIS IS OUD! I don't know how much of this Ensar has in his magical vault, but eventually it will run out, my STRONG recommendation is to grab a bottle before that happens*.

*This marketing was not paid for in any way, however, if Ensar wishes, he could certainly donate the kinam oil of his choice to my collection.
