Hi Koool, the great thing, is having both,
they are both "Top Notch" smoky oils.
The pressure and challenge is on Ensar now, can the Chef cook another oil to join that echelon

Ahhhh yes Sir! There is one thing though and that's Ensar doesn't have to impress anyone with any one of his oils, let along challenge another Oil. All his Ouds are magnificent and impressive. Saying that, your wish, my wish, and every persons wish might be coming true as, He gave a hint sometime ago about making something along the lines of Dhul Q give or take.

Hello Simla. As much as I love the KR, Kyara LTD is a whole other level. If you can acquire some of that, IMO you will own one of the top Ouds ever distilled. Simply amazing. At that level, there is nothing really better, just different. It is not even a scent as much as it is an experience.

Yeah. What kesiro said. You should get KR sometime. Everyone should. I have said a dozen or more times that I still can't believe Ensar has any left at the "relative" value it is. BUT..Kyara LTD is definitely in the running for the "holy grail" of oud. Its beautiful, therapeutic and an experience, just as kesiro says.

So I paired Royal Guallam with Kinam Rouge last night. RG might be the most narcotic of the oils I have. Actually, take that back, Nha Trang LTD and then RG.

Boy, that was a lovely duo. KR with it complex, deep red, mildly bittersweet kinamic elixir. RG the pure bittersweet, sweet-sour, narcotic libation of the afterlife.

Oud Mustafa 5 for me this morning. This Oudh Is such that myself or anyone else who knows Oudh will ever get tired of. The depth of this Oudh can really be appreciated by all those who know or don't want to know about Oudh.

Royal Guallam - aptly described by Ensar as the 'Vietnam Purple Kinam'. I do not think I would have bought it except that I had met him in Dubai and he...strongly 'suggested' I do not miss out. I wonder if he realised what a favour he did by convincing me against my rational (money deficient) reasoning. Something tells me he did realise ;p
So @Ensar, where is my Cambodi version? I have 30 tolas of gold waiting to be sold in exchange for it.

Today was the SPECTACULAR Sultan Ahmet, this is the definition of synergy...1+1 does not equal 2 when PNG and Brunei come together in the hands of EO.
This evening, THE MANAKA (AA), I was lifting in the evening and I was getting some real psychoactive awakening from the circulating vapours. If anyone has seen powerlifters sniff ammonia before a heavy lift..I think thats the experience I was having, except it was olfactory paradise.

Received Tigerwood 1995 which is amazing but the sample of "Archipelgo" was such a tease and wrong lol.... This stuff is amazing and projects soooooo lovely... This would be my choice of Oud to have with me while stranded on an Island..

A small drop is too much Akhi! Half of the small drop should be more than enough! The TW95 is potent in my opinion and alot doesn't have to be applied for it to amaze you each time. Listen to it carefully and it will share with you its deep secrets.
The Archipelego is very subtle in the beginning and once you show her, your respect whiffs of Oudh are pushed out to you slowly but surely. The dry down aroma is on whole different level and is something which can come only from the Borneo Islands IMO.

Chugoku Senkoh this evening. The opening scent of this oil is a full orchestra symphony, despite the intended absence of accessory notes. The Chinese oud scent is so rich yet delicate. So addictive.
