If any oil can be said to be too 'distilled', it's this one. The attention to detail is so scrupulous you lose focus of the wood just so you can behold the distiller's virtuosity. A fascinating study in distillation. Definitely not for the layman.

I am SO glad you finally got to smell it! I think you will understand why I personally love this more than Berkilau and Pencerahan.
Although this was distilled back when I had staff doing everything for me, I hand-picked the wood myself and ensured that the Ahmad-Mab duo fully entertained and implemented my 'OCD' drip-rate requirements — among other things. If there's anyone who can smell the parameters in this oil, its you. :D

Yep. The appearance of that vial was the end result of a good many misswipes... My gracious host initially swiped me with a healthy dose of horse manure (75% of which remained on the disposable applicator)... I promptly fished out an Emperor's Clouds teabag from my cup to wash it off with (green tea being superior to dishwashing liquid)... A second swipe only led to a second teabag getting yanked out of my cup (less horse, more jammy fruit coaxed out of resinless wood)... And at long last... out came Manaka!

Out of 8-10 swipes, only it and Borneo 4000 were not subjected to the teabag treatment. o_O

A second swipe only led to a second (and last available) teabag getting yanked out of my cup (less horse, more jammy fruit coaxed out of resinless wood)... And at long last... out comes Manaka!

Today is the deep, regal and refined Neriko. One of my favourite blends ever...it's hard to describe the precise satisfaction it gives, but if you take the harshness of a tart plum, and then take the inverse, which is a deep deliciously sweet, woody and ambergris graced plum, you start to get near it I think.

Kyara LTD private today. Needed something a bit magical today. This one is an "earlier edition" of Royal Kinam v2. Special is all I can say. One of the greatest pure Chinese oils I know of. Hainan I believe. Hainan Kinam.

I've been pairing with sandalwood on the other side recent. Taha's Tan Xiang No1 has been getting a ton of play. But today went with Ambra. Divine as well.

Sounds incredible! Great choice of the sandalwood son as well. TX1 is amazing and so is Ambra!

At midnight ... gentle breeze is coming like refreshing waves upon me ... a little swipe of Pursat 2005.
Soon everything becomes significantly different. Sub conscious mind woke up to hold my hand to have a walk in a dreamy mysterious pathway.
Through some old nostalgic emotions ... some childhood memories ... like a sweet beautiful sadness which goes through a bunch of glimpses ... rewind-fast forward of entire neuron memories.

Today I applied the newly acquired L'essentiel Cambodgien. The moment I opened the bottle I was taken back by wow there is some similarities of Koh Kong in this. It isn't very powerful or light either. I applied the Oudh and was wowed on the sweetness/ dried fruits but not forgetting the Oudiness in it. The silage on this one is very long and I would say several hours even after washing my hands. Thank you again for making this available at such a affordable price and for those who haven't experienced Cambodi and want to try it out, please do yourself a favor and get this beautiful Oudh. You will love it!

Hey koool! I wore the LC as well today. Definitely an extreme value oil. On my skin, it starts of classic kambodi but then starts to get a beautiful white floral note. As you said, lasts a long time too. This one is a score for the money. Definitely has exceeded my expectations.
